Take care with the first washes
For the first two to three washes, wash your tee separately or with similar dark colours.
You may notice a small amount of colour in the wash water. This is normal with dyed cotton and does not mean the fabric itself is fading.
Turn it inside out
Before washing, turn your tee inside out.
This protects the outer surface from friction and helps the finish stay smooth for longer.
Wash it with softer pieces
Wash your tee with soft fabrics, and keep it separate from garments with zips, buttons, studs, or metal trims.
Metal details can abrade the cotton during a wash cycle, creating unnecessary friction and lint.
Dry it in the shade
After washing, dry your tee inside out and away from direct sunlight.
Shade-drying helps protect the depth of colour and the fabric’s natural finish.
Wash
Cold and gentle
Machine wash at 30°C with like colours. Turn inside out to protect the surface.
Bleach
None, ever
Bleach breaks down the fibre and dulls the dye.
Dry
Air, not heat
Reshape while damp and lay flat or line dry in shade
Handling
Press, don't wring
Wringing twists the knit out of shape. Roll in a towel and press out the water.
Finish
Warm iron, inside out
Iron on a medium setting while slightly damp. Skip the print or label areas.
